Doha: Wall Street’s major indices closed mixed at the close of trading today, with the S and P 500 posting its second consecutive record high.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Standard and Poor’s 500 index rose 19.72 points, or 0.30 percent, to close at 6,532.33. The Nasdaq Composite Index saw a slight increase, rising 5.27 points, or 0.02 percent, to 21,884.75 points.

Meanwhile, the Dow Jones Industrial Average faced a decline, falling 219.15 points, or 0.48 percent, to 45,492.19.
