New york: The main indices on the US Wall Street stock exchange began their trading Wednesday on an upward note.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose by 46.3 points, or 0.1 percent, to 46.649.32 points. The S and P 500 Index increased by 9.3 points, or 0.14 percent, to 6.723.87 points. The Nasdaq Composite Index climbed 64 points, or 0.28 percent, to 22.852.32 points.
