The Department of Migration and Displacement in Khanaqin district, Diyala Governorate, has embarked on a plan to resolve the fate of the displaced families in the district.
A government source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: “The Immigration Department in Khanaqin has begun implementing a plan to resolve the fate of 8000 displaced families living in Khanaqin district and its administratively affiliated areas, including voluntary return to their liberated areas or integrating and stabilizing in the areas to which they were displaced by adopting specific administrative mechanisms.
He added that: “According to the instructions of the Ministry of Migration and Displacement, the displaced family who decides to return voluntarily will be granted one million and 500 thousand dinars, while the family that decides to integrate will be granted one million dinars,” pointing out: “The Department of Migration and Displacement works continuously to support the file of the displaced families and secure their return to their liberated areas and ending their suffering that lasted for many years.”
