Baghdad – The United States announced that the Lebanese “Hezbollah” should not “exploit” the war between Israel and “Hamas” after the party’s Secretary-General, Hassan Nasrallah, announced that the possibilities of expanding this war against Tel Aviv are “open.”

US National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said: “We and our partners have been clear: Hezbollah and other parties, whether they are states or not, should not try to exploit the existing conflict.”

He stressed that “the United States does not seek to escalate or expand the scope of the ongoing conflict” between Israel and the Hamas movement.

He continued: “The matter may turn into a war between Israel and Lebanon that will be bloodier than the 2006 war. The United States does not want to see this conflict expand to Lebanon.”

He added: “The potential destruction that will befall Lebanon and its people is unimaginable and unavoidable.”

Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah confirmed in a speech on Friday evening that the Americans can stop the war on Gaza because it is their war.

He added: “You Americans know that if the battle begins in the region, you will pay the price in your interests, soldiers, and fleets.”

He stressed, “Whoever wants to prevent a regional war must hurry to stop the aggression against Gaza.”/End
