New york: The American company xAI has launched a new artificial intelligence model focused on agent-based programming, named grok-code-fast-1. The model has been developed from scratch with an entirely new architecture and expanded code content during the pre-training phase.

According to Qatar News Agency, xAI utilized high-quality datasets that reflect real-world coding tasks and requests for code change integration, making the model more suitable for everyday software engineering. The new model is optimized to work with multiple programming languages and will be available for free for a limited time through popular interactive coding platforms such as GitHub Copilot and Windsurf.

xAI indicated that the model achieved a success rate of 70.8% in SWE-Bench-Verified tests using an internal testing environment. The company’s inference and supercomputing teams employed new techniques to accelerate code generation, reaching speeds of up to 160 tokens per second. This provides the model with high performance in modern development environments, offering competitive pricing and rapid code generation capabilities.
