Until 6:00 am on Sunday, the weather inshore is predicted to be hazy and partly cloudy to cloudy, with the possibility of scattered rain that could become thundery in some areas by late night.
According to Qatar News Agency, offshore conditions are also expected to be hazy and partly cloudy to cloudy, with scattered rain that may turn thundery by late night. The report cautions about the likelihood of thundery rain, strong winds, and a high sea state developing as the night progresses.
Inshore wind speeds are anticipated to be northeasterly to northwesterly at 08 to 18 knots, gusting up to 25 knots during thundery rain. Offshore, wind speeds will range from 05 to 15 knots, with gusts up to 24 knots. The sea state inshore is expected to be between 1 to 3 feet, rising to 5 feet at times. Offshore, the sea state is predicted to be 2 to 4 feet, rising to 8 feet at times.
Visibility inshore will vary between 05 to 10 kilometers, reducing to 03 kilometers or less during thundery rain. Offshore visibility is expected to range from 05 to 09 kilometers, decreasing to 03 kilometers or less with thundery rain.
