Gaza city: Eight Palestinians were martyred on Thursday in an Israeli occupation airstrike on Gaza City.

According to Qatar News Agency, four people were martyred when Israeli occupation warplanes targeted a group of civilians on Al-Wehda Street, near Al-Zahraa School in central Gaza City. Another four were martyred in a separate strike on a group of civilians near Al-Karama Towers in the city’s northwest.

The total number of Palestinians martyred since the early hours of today’s Israeli occupation assault on Gaza Strip has risen to 36, with many others injured.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel has been waging a relentless military campaign on Gaza that has so far martyred 57,860 Palestinians, the majority of whom are women and children, and injured 137,409 others. These figures remain incomplete, as many victims are still trapped under the rubble or lying in the streets, where emergency and rescue teams are unable to reach them.
