Explosions in Ukraine’s Lviv Kill Policewoman, Injure 15

Lviv: Explosions in the western Ukrainian city of Lviv killed a policewoman and wounded at least 15 people on Sunday. “This is definitely an act of terror,” Lviv mayor Andriy Sadovyi said, without revealing further details about the responsible party or possible motives.

According to Qatar News Agency, the mayor added that the explosions also damaged two vehicles, including a police patrol car. Local sources reported multiple explosions in the city center near the Polish border, noting that security forces initially responded to a call about an intrusion at a store.

A first explosion struck as the initial patrol arrived, followed by a second blast moments later when another crew reached the scene.
