The Military Intelligence Directorate detachments arrested 4 suspects of belonging to the terrorist organization ISIS and 18 suspects in various legal cases in six provinces.
The Directorate stated in a statement today: “Its detachments, with their divisions and people in the Command, and in cooperation with the security forces holding the land, have begun setting up tight ambushes in separate areas of the governorates of Baghdad, Anbar, Salah al-Din, Nineveh, Basra, and Maysan.”
It added: “The ambushes resulted in the arrest of (4) wanted persons for the judiciary in accordance with the provisions of Article Four of the Anti-Terrorism Law, belonging to ISIS terrorist gangs in the districts of Al-Baaj, Mosul and Al-Sharqat, and (18) others accused of various legal cases in the districts of Al-Qaim, Yusufiyah, Fallujah, Qala’at Saleh, Al-Qurna, Al-Majar Al-Kabeer and Rabia district.”/ End
