Doha: Kuwait is seizing the opportunity at the 35th Doha International Book Fair to present its rich assortment of cultural, intellectual, and specialized Arab heritage publications. Khalifa Al Rabah, Director of the Book Fairs and Distribution Department at the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters (NCCAL) in Kuwait, has affirmed the significance of this platform for showcasing Kuwait's contributions.
According to Qatar News Agency, Al Rabah mentioned that the Kuwaiti pavilion continues to attract a significant number of visitors, thanks to its display of well-known Kuwaiti periodicals and series. These include World of Knowledge, Al-Arabi Magazine, Global Creativity, World Culture, World of Thought, and Cultural Heritage, each embodying Kuwait's cultural identity and its contributions to the Arab intellectual scene.
Al Rabah highlighted that Kuwait's participation in the book fair is part of NCCAL's strategic vision to foster joint cultural projects among Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states. This initiative is aimed at enhancing cooperation and sharing expertise, reflecting the strong fraternal relations and cultural connections between Kuwait and Qatar.
Al Rabah also praised the organization and services provided at the Doha International Book Fair. He acknowledged the comprehensive cultural program accompanying the event, noting that the fair's execution ensures the continued success of its current edition.
