Doha: HE Minister of Labour and Chair of the Workforce Planning Committee Dr. Ali bin Samikh Al Marri presided Tuesday over the committee's second regular meeting of 2026. During the session, the committee reviewed the latest developments in the country's workforce sector and examined the initiatives and programs scheduled for implementation this year, in line with the objectives of building an Effective and Highly Productive Workforce and fully consistent with the targets of Qatar's National Development Strategy 2030.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting focused on aligning the workforce initiatives with the broader national goals set for 2030. The committee emphasized the importance of strategic planning and effective implementation of programs to achieve these targets. The session highlighted the need for continuous evaluation and adaptation of workforce strategies to meet the evolving demands of the country's development trajectory.
