MoEHE Launches Initiative to Insource Qatari Trainers in Educational Services Centers

Doha: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) has launched an initiative aimed at insourcing Qatari trainers in educational and training service centers. This initiative, introduced by the Educational Services Centers Department under the Private Education Affairs sector, seeks to support national talent and bolster its presence in the training and continuing education sector.

According to Qatar News Agency, the launch event was graced by the presence of HE Minister of Education and Higher Education Lolwah bint Rashid bin Mohammed Al Khater, HE Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education Dr. Ibrahim bin Saleh Al Nuaimi, and Assistant Undersecretary for Private Education Affairs at the Ministry Omar Abdulaziz Al Naama, alongside several ministry officials, owners of educational centers, and Qatari trainers.

At a press conference held on the occasion, Iman Ali Al Nuaimi, Director of the Educational Services Centers Department at the Ministry, emphasized that the initiative is a response to the rapid growth of private educational and training service centers. It underscores a commitment to empowering Qatari trainers and enhancing their professional capabilities. Al Nuaimi mentioned that the initiative aims to improve the quality of training outcomes and bolster the country's sustainable learning ecosystem, in line with Qatar National Vision 2030.

Al Nuaimi also noted a significant response from national talent, with 121 Qatari trainers registered under the initiative. Women constituted 80.2 percent of the participants, while men made up 19.8 percent. She pointed out the diversity in professional experience among participants, highlighting that over 9 percent have more than 20 years of experience, while the rest have between 5 to 20 years across various specialized fields.

The training areas addressed by the initiative include entrepreneurship, human development, creative thinking and problem-solving, time and stress management, leadership, and effective communication skills, all of which are essential specializations linked directly to the needs of Qatar's labor market.

Regarding the implementation process, Al Nuaimi explained that registered trainers will undergo interviews to obtain accredited licenses and permits to work in educational and training centers. A list of licensed trainers will then be distributed to these centers, with follow-up measures ensuring their involvement in delivering training programs. She highlighted that this step is a crucial pillar in strengthening the role of national cadres in supporting the knowledge-based economy and building a society focused on lifelong learning.
