OIC Urges Global Organizations to Halt Israeli Occupation’s Brutal Crimes Against Palestinians

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has called on organizations, global institutions, and the free people of the entire world to rapidly act to put an end to the brutal crimes perpetrated by the Israeli occupation forces against Palestinians in Gaza, West Bank, Jerusalem, and the entire occupied Palestinian territories.

OIC Secretary-General Hissein Brahim Taha stressed that the Israeli occupation is still wreaking havoc in all territories of Palestine with depravity and devastation. He added that the Israeli occupation is killing children, women and elderly with the most potent and brutal weapons and flagrantly violating all international resolutions and humanitarian charters rendered by international organs, particularly the United Nations Security Council.

This came in the remarks of OIC Secretary-General delivered on behalf of him by the Secretary of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy, Koutoub Moustapha Sano, during the inaugural session of the conference of fatwa and challenges of the third millennium, currently held in Cairo, Egypt.

The remarks pointed to the brutal massacres perpetrated by the Israeli occupation without mercy, along with the relentless devastation of infrastructure and superstructure, in addition to carrying out brutal assaults that have neither appeared before the sight of sane people, nor believed by any imagination, along with the savage, flagrant and barbaric bombardment of hospitals, homes and mosques.

Taha emphasized that such a genocide and the brutal massacre are being perpetrated in broad daylight before the eyes of the international community which chose to align with the arrogance and aggression powers, indicating that the international community pursues double standards and selectivity in enforcing the international humanitarian law in front of the practices perpetrated by the Israeli occupation.
