Islamabad: Pakistan's finance minister, Muhammad Aurangzeb, met on Wednesday with a delegation from the International Monetary Fund headed by Eva Petrova, which is visiting Pakistan. The meeting discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between Pakistan and the IMF, as well as Pakistan's macroeconomic framework, the government's reform agenda, and priorities for the upcoming budget.
According to Qatar News Agency, during the meeting, Petrova reaffirmed the IMF's commitment to continuing constructive cooperation with the Pakistani government and supporting its economic reform program.
