Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani stressed the importance of continuing work to activate the outcomes of the visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Iraq last month, and to follow up on the implementation of the (27) memorandums of understanding, especially those related to the development road project. The Prime Minister's Media Office said in a statement: "al-Sudani received, today, Monday, the Turkish Ambassador to Iraq, Ali Reza Guney, on the occasion of the end of his tenure." Al-Sudani appreciated the efforts of the Turkish ambassador during his tenure in Iraq, which resulted in constructive cooperation that contributed to strengthening bilateral relations between the two neighboring countries. The Prime Minister indicated that work is continuing to implement the outcomes of President Erdogan's visit to Iraq last month, and to follow up on the implementation of the 27 memorandums of understanding, especially those related to the development road project, and put them into practice, a nd to form committees to follow up on the terms of the strategic framework agreement for joint cooperation, and implement the framework agreement in the field of water.
