Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, along with HH the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani, and HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, conveyed their condolences to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud following the passing of the mother of HH Prince Abdullah bin Saud bin Saad I Al Abdulrahman Al-Saud. The communications were made through official cables of condolences sent to the Saudi leadership.
According to Qatar News Agency, HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani engaged in a telephonic conversation with HE Federal Chancellor of the Republic of Austria Christian Stocker on Wednesday. Meanwhile, HE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi met with HE Prime Minister of the Republic of North Macedonia Hristijan Mickoski, and HE Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of the Republic of North Macedonia Timco Mucunski in Skopje.
In Washington DC, HE Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani held discussions with HE Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security of the United States of America Kristi Noem as part of his official visit. Additionally, HE Minister of State for Foreign Trade Dr. Ahmad bin Mohammed Al Sayed participated in a High-Level Dialogue organized by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva, Switzerland, and conducted a series of bilateral meetings with senior international officials.
HE Minister of Justice and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Ibrahim bin Ali bin Issa Al Hassan Al Mohannadi lauded advancements in the real estate sector, highlighting the launch of digital services and the updated Sakk program integrated with the Qatar Digital ID (QDI) system. Over 80 international events are now hosted in Qatar annually, spanning diverse sectors, as mentioned by HE Executive Director to the Permanent Committee for Organizing Conferences (PCOC) Mubarak Ajlan Mubarak Al Kuwari, aligning with Qatar’s national vision.
The State of Qatar participated in several international forums, including the 66th session of the Assemblies of the Member States of WIPO in Geneva and the 109th session of the Executive Council of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) in The Hague. Furthermore, Qatar was represented at the Amman – Arab Youth Capital 2025 event in Jordan, which marked the launch of the executive plan for the Arab Strategy for Youth, Peace, and Security.
