Doha: The International Media Office of the State of Qatar has dismissed allegations suggesting that Qatar is reconsidering its security partnership with the United States. These claims were reportedly made by an unnamed source to Axios, a US-based media outlet.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Media Office described the allegations as “categorically false” and attributed them to an attempt to create discord between Qatar and the United States. The statement emphasized that such narratives are propagated by entities that thrive on regional instability and oppose peace initiatives.

The statement further underscored the robustness of the Qatar-US security and defense partnership, highlighting that the relationship is not only strong but also continually expanding.
