Qatar: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index rose by 0.12% at the start of Monday trading, gaining 12.91 points to reach 10,680 points, compared to the previous session close, supported by six sectors.
According to Qatar News Agency, figures from QSE showed positive performance in the insurance sector, which rose by 0.93%, followed by the consumer goods and services sector at 0.89%, the telecom sector at 0.67%, the real estate sector at 0.09%, the transport sector at 0.09%, and the banking and financial services sector at 0.07%.
In contrast, the industrial sector recorded a negative performance, declining by 0.03%. As of 10:00 am, QSE recorded 3,846 transactions valued at QR 96.009 million, distributed across 52.990 million shares.
