Doha: Qatar Tourism has announced a rich calendar of cultural and sports events for September 2025. The schedule features a diverse mix of cultural exhibitions, live shows, creative workshops, specialized forums, and sports championships.
According to Qatar News Agency, this September’s lineup also includes traditional falconry displays, anime festivals, orchestral concerts, medical exhibitions, and sports challenges. This month’s events will blend cultural depth with community engagement across the country.
Several major exhibitions continue to attract visitors at the Museum of Islamic Art. “In the Realms of Mecca: A Journey through the Rituals of Hajj and Umrah” runs until December 30. “A Seat at the Table: Food and Feasting in the Islamic World” is on display until November 8. Meanwhile, “Escape Room: The Banquet of Secrets” brings history to life in an interactive setting where guests uncover ancient recipes and medicinal secrets to unlock a hidden banquet until December 20.
The Rouda Al Malki Exhibition takes place at Qatar National Convention Center from August 29 to September 3.
Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra returns for its new season with “An Evening of Schumann” on September 4, “Spanish Impressions” on September 11, and “A Musical Encounter: Sounds of Qatar and Argentina” on September 14 – all at Qatar National Convention Center (QNCC). The latter showcases Qatari and Latin American compositions as part of the Year of Culture with Argentina and Chile.
The same month will also feature theater and comedy events, fan culture, in addition to workshops and family activities, conferences, specialized events, and heritage and sports activities.
