Doha, Qatari newspapers underlined that the State of Qatar will spare no effort to support the brotherly Palestinian people in Gaza Strip despite the Israeli crimes and attempts to discourage Qatar, such as bombing the headquarters of the Qatar Committee for the Reconstruction of Gaza.
In their editorials on Wednesday, the Qatari dailies noted the intention of the Israeli entity to destroy institutions that help alleviate the suffering of the Palestinians, and all civil and service facilities in Gaza Strip; calling on the international community to hold the Israeli entity accountable for its repeated crimes against civilians and civil objects.
Under the headline "Brutal Aggression" Al-Watan said the true motives for the unprecedent Israeli aggression against Gaza were revealed. After the statements of Israeli Heritage Minister Amihai Eliyahu calling for attack Gaza with a nuclear bomb, Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich called for displacing Palestinians from Gaza Strip and moving them to other countries, claiming it is the "right solution" to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
The Israeli entity aims to displace the population of Gaza and Judaize the Strip similar to their actions in large parts of the occupied West Bank. Accordingly, the occupation targeted the headquarters of the Qatar Committee for the Reconstruction of Gaza which carried out an important role in the field of development and reconstruction through hundreds of humanitarian projects to meet the needs of the people of Gaza in various fields, Al-Watan said.
Commenting on the same topic, Al-Sharq said that the crime of bombing the headquarters of the Qatar Committee for the Reconstruction of Gaza - a pioneering institution that provides development projects alleviate the suffering of the population in Gaza Strip due to the long siege and ongoing aggression - reveals the intention of the Israeli occupation to destroy institutions that alleviate the suffering of the Palestinians, and all civilian and service facilities in the Strip. The international community and its relevant institutions must hold the Israeli entity accountable for its repeated crimes against civilians and civilian objects, and to oblige it to comply with international laws.
In its editorial titled "Continued Qatari Support for the Palestinian People", Al-Sharq said the State of Qatar continues its intensive endeavors to mobilize regional and international diplomatic efforts to reach an immediate ceasefire, and to permanently open the Rafah crossing to ensure flow of relief convoys and humanitarian aid to the Palestinian brothers besieged in Gaza Strip.
In this context, HE Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater headed Qatar's delegation which arrived Tuesday in Arish and Rafah cities of the Arab Republic of Egypt to deliver an additional aid package to the Palestinian people, which includes a field hospital, shelter kits, and medical and food supplies, the paper noted.
The State of Qatar, which stands strongly with the brotherly Palestinian people, will continue to provide them with all forms of support to overcome the disastrous humanitarian conditions, and it is working with all brothers to break the collective punishment imposed on Gaza. The crimes committed by the Israeli entity will not deter Qatar from supporting the Palestinian people and stopping this aggression, Al-Sharq concluded. (MORE)
