Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed Wednesday's trading session lower, with a decline of 92.98 points, or 0.87%, bringing the index to 10,577.25 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 133,395,790 shares were traded across 23,039 transactions in all sectors during the session, amounting to a total trading value of QR 394,608,505.655. The session saw 14 companies reporting an advance in their share prices, while 39 companies recorded declines, and one company's share price remained unchanged.

The market capitalization at the close of trading was recorded at QR 626,908,651,091.118, which marks a decrease from the previous session's market capitalization of QR 634,904,306,041.026.
