The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) dropped 22.43 points, or 0.22 percent, at the beginning of trading on Tuesday, reaching 10,147 points, compared to yesterday's closing. QSE general index was weighed down by a decline in six sectors: Telecoms by 0.54 percent; Insurance by 0.47 percent; Industrials by 0.36 percent; Real Estate by 0.33 percent; Consumer Goods and Services by 0.28 percent; and Banks and Financial Services by 0.09 percent. However, the index saw a rise in Transportation by 0.02 percent. By 10:00 am, 13.340 million shares were traded in 1,548 transactions valued QAR 28.636 million. Source: Qatar News Agency
