The Head Of The Iraqi Journalists Syndicate Congratulates the Winning Of Police Football Club And Promises Its Players An Honor If They Win The Arab Club Championship Cup

The head of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, President of the Arab Journalists Federation, Moayad Al-Lami, congratulated the impressive victory achieved by the Police Club team against the Qatari Al-Sadd Club team, with four goals to two, in the quarter-final round of the King Salman Cup in the Arab Football Clubs Championship, whose competitions are currently taking place in the Kingdom of Saudi Arab.

Al-Lami said in a press statement today that this great victory reaffirms the pioneering position of Iraqi football in the Arab world, as it is a renewal of hope and awakening the spark of challenge inherent in the hearts of Iraqi athletes in achieving excellence in all fields of sports, and football in particular.

The head of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate praised the Iraqi sports media for keeping up with the event, supporting the successes and pointing out the negatives, with his blessing for every sporting success that raises the name of the beloved Iraq.

Al-Lami expressed his optimism about the capabilities of the police club, after qualifying for the semi-finals of the Arab Championship, and the possibility of reaching the final match in light of the technical and physical qualifications of the police team and its leadership with a young Iraqi training represented by Captain Ahmed Salah.

Moayad Al-Lami concluded his statement with a special promise from him to honor the police club's football in the event that the team won the Arab Club Championship Cup.
