According to Qatar News Agency, Sehili expressed Tunisia's desire to elevate cooperation to a strategic partnership, including military manufacturing, knowledge transfer, and technology. The Italian official confirmed ongoing coordination and efforts to expand joint military cooperation in training and experience sharing.
Tunisia and Italy originally signed a military cooperation agreement in 1995.
