Turkish intelligence announced the killing of a prominent leader of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in a security operation it carried out in Sinjar region in northern Iraq.

Turkish intelligence stated in a media report today, Friday, that the so-called Khaled Rasho Qasim, the so-called Sinjar security official in the PKK organization in northern Iraq, nicknamed Dindar Avista, was being followed by Turkish intelligence, where he was spotted in the Sinjar region, accompanied by a number of his companions.
