Beirut: Israeli occupation warplanes launched two new airstrikes on southern Lebanon on Thursday, killing two people and wounding others.

According to Qatar News Agency, local sources reported that an Israeli airstrike targeted a house in the town of Ain Baal in southern Lebanon, resulting in the death of one person and injuring others. In a separate incident, another person was killed in a strike on the city of Nabatieh.

This incident adds to the previously released casualties count of 2,715 killed and 8,353 wounded since March 2. The escalation of occupation strikes on Lebanese cities and towns continues, with the Israeli occupation also targeting Beirut. This marks the first strike on the Lebanese capital in nearly a month, while violations of the ceasefire persist daily in southern Lebanon.
