Abu dhabi: HH President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, Nechirvan Barzani, engaged in a phone conversation to address the ongoing military escalation in the region and its potential impact on security and stability.

According to Qatar News Agency, President Barzani strongly condemned the Iranian attacks targeting the UAE and several other nations in the region. He highlighted that such actions constitute a violation of state sovereignty and international law.

Both leaders underscored the urgency of ceasing the military escalation and advocated for a return to dialogue and diplomatic measures to maintain regional peace and security.
