The President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faiq Zaidan, discussed today, Tuesday, with a delegation from the Inter-Parliamentary Union, the human rights file.

A statement to the media of the Judicial Council stated: "Today, Tuesday, Zaidan received the delegation of the human rights mission to the Inter-Parliamentary Union, which includes the head of the committee, Samuel Koglati, and Mushahid Hussein, a member of the delegation, and Buthaina Al-Mahrezi, human rights official in the General Secretariat of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, accompanied by the head of the Parliamentary Human Rights Committee, Arshad Al-Salihi, and the deputy head of the committee, Wahda Al-Jumaili.

The statement added: "The President of the Supreme Judicial Council discussed with the delegation the human rights file."
