Baghdad, Detachments of the 2nd and 6th Energy Police Brigades arrested two defendants accused of smuggling oil in Anbar and Karbala governorates. The Ministry of Interior said in a statement: 'Police detachments arrested two defendants and seized their vehicles prepared for smuggling oil and its derivatives in the Anbar and Holy Karbala governorates due to several violations.' It added: 'The accused were placed in detention and the two-vehicles were seized in preparation for completing the legal procedures and presenting them to the competent investigating judge.
