A force from the Ninth Brigade of the Popular Mobilization Forces found an explosive device in Salah al-Din.

A statement by the Popular Mobilization Authority stated: A force from the intelligence of the Ninth Brigade affiliated with the Kirkuk and East Tigris Operations Command in the Popular Mobilization Forces found today, Wednesday, an explosive device prepared for detonation, in Al-Fateha area of Salah al-Din Governorate, during a security operation in which detachments from the 88th Brigade participated. The area was fully secured by the joint forces of the Popular Mobilization Forces.”
